INTER-HOUSE MARATHON: A RUN FOR FITNESS, FELLOWSHIP AND HOUSE SPIRIT

On 6th October school campus came alive with enthusiasm and sporting spirit as the Inter-House Marathon brought together young runners in a spirited celebration of fitness, endurance and teamwork. Students from the four Houses—Hughes, Hogan, Parkinson and Price—participated with remarkable zeal, displaying determination, discipline and a strong sense of healthy competition.

The marathon provided students an opportunity to challenge themselves, build physical stamina and experience the joy of running. Every stride reflected their perseverance and commitment, while the vibrant house spirit added excitement to the event.

The race also highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, resilience and teamwork. Participants encouraged one another throughout the run, demonstrating that true victory lies not merely in finishing first, but in giving one’s best and inspiring others along the way.

The Inter-House Marathon was a meaningful step towards nurturing healthy bodies, determined minds and positive sporting values, reinforcing the school’s commitment to the holistic development of every Marian.
