NIOS AT MOUNT ST. MARY’S SCHOOL, DELHI CANTT
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly known as National Open School (NOS), was established in November 1989 as an autonomous organisation in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. NIOS is providing a number of Vocational, Life Enrichment and community-oriented courses besides General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level. It operates through a network of Regional Centres, Sub-Regional Centres and Accredited Institutions (AIs).
NIOS at Mount St. Mary’s is one of the Accredited Institutions operating as a study centre since its inception in the year 1997. To cater to the needs of diverse group of learners, NIOS offers Online Admissions throughout the year 24×7 which is divided into two blocks. The total number of seats available is 500.Personal Contact classes are conducted with the help of teachers of MSM in the afternoon for the children who are allotted to our study centre. The teachers are also part of the Practical & Public Examination which is held twice a year in the months of April- May and October- November for the benefit of these learners.
Over the years, MSM has been instrumental in helping thousands of students achieve their dreams through the NIOS. NIOS-MSM is grateful to the teachers and all the other staff members for their untiring support and guidance given all through.
