MSM presents its beloved Marians with innumerable opportunities, not only to showcase their talents but also to prepare them for newer, tougher challenges.
Upholding this ‘ethos’, the leaders of the Student Council 2022-23 were given the unmissable opportunity of becoming a ‘ted talker’ at the TEDxYOUTH event, to be hosted by Sri Venkateswara International School, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The audition videos of the Head Boy – Adab Lakhanpal and the Sports Captain – Advita Sharma were shortlisted for the final selection to be carried out by the host school.
It was indeed a proud moment for MSM when SVIS selected Adab Lakhanpal as one of the five speakers, out of entries received from 100 schools pan India. Advita Sharma was invited to be a part of the select live audience on the day of the event.
On August 23, 2022, Adab Lakhanpal delivered his ideas on the extremely relevant topic – ‘Student Mental Health’ and received appreciation from the members of the audience. He was awarded the ‘Eminent Speaker’ trophy and a ‘Certificate of Merit’ and Advita Sharma was presented with a ‘Commendation Letter.’
This was a very well-organised event, handled entirely by the students of SVIS.
