On the 20th of July, the Senior School Award Ceremony was a grand affair, orchestrated to
honour and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of Marians who have demonstrated
unparalleled talent, unwavering dedication, and an inspiring journey of success.
The distinguished Chief Guest for the evening was Lt. General AK Bhatt PVSM UYSM AVSM
SM VSM* (Retd), Director General of the Indian Space Association. His presence added a
touch of prestige to the event, which saw students from classes IX to XII being lauded under
various prestigious categories. Awards were presented for Academic Excellence, Instituted
Awards, Cultural and Sports Proficiency, Leadership (Best Leader of the Class), the All-Rounder
Award, and National Participation. Additionally, subject toppers from Class X and XII in the
CBSE Examinations were recognized, alongside those from all the four classes who excelled in
Catechism and Value Education, and the overall academic toppers of Classes X and XII.

A special honour was bestowed upon all students of classes X and XII who achieved an
impressive score of 90% and above, with each receiving a Gold Star Certificate. The overall
toppers were celebrated with much enthusiasm: Kanak Goyal, Archisha Sood, and Kanusha
Bopanna for Class X, and Prisha Gakhar as the Humanities topper with 96.6%, Sakshi Kumari
as the Commerce topper with 91.6%, and Manan Trivedi, who excelled in Science with a
commendable 96%.

The ceremony was beautifully themed around Holistic Development – Body, Mind, and Soul, a
concept that underpinned the entire event. The proceedings began with a prayer by Head Girl
Avneet Kaur and Head Boy Shaurya Malik, setting a tone of reverence and reflection.
This theme was brought to life through a poignant musical drama titled ‘Mountain Man –
Dashrath Manjhi’, depicting the relentless efforts of a man who, with sheer perseverance,
achieved the extraordinary. The performance was a testament to the indomitable human spirit,
resonating deeply with the audience.

Following the drama, the eagerly anticipated prize distribution took place. The auditorium was
filled with the joy and pride of parents who witnessed the recognition of their children’s hard
work and achievements.

In his address, Lt. General AK Bhatt delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing that in the
grand symphony of life, success and failure are like harmonious partners, both essential in
shaping a resilient and wise individual. He stressed that there are no shortcuts to success and
highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in guiding students towards their goals. His words of
encouragement were a beacon for the students, urging them to channel their talents and efforts
in the right direction. He concluded by extending heartfelt congratulations to all the award
winners, applauding their creativity, talent, and hard work.

The event drew to a close with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented by Cultural Captain Dhriti
Yadav. She expressed deep gratitude to the Chief Guest for his esteemed presence and
valuable insights, and on behalf of the student community, she extended appreciation to the
Principal, Rev. Brother Tomy Varghese, for his visionary leadership and the boundless learning
opportunities he provides. She also acknowledged Brother Rajesh, the Community Leader,
Coordinators, and teachers for their unwavering support.

The Senior School Award Ceremony was not just an event, but a celebration of the holistic
development of students, inspiring them to strive for excellence in every facet of life.
