A workshop on Vedic Mathematics was organised for the students of Classes 4 and 5 on 29th November,2022. Ms Rekha, a resource person from The Hindustan Times, had conducted the session, which aimed at making Maths fun and enjoyable to the students.
Vedic Maths deals with a set of mathematical techniques used to make numerically challenging sums easy to solve. The session was interactive and involved numerous examples given to the students, which helped them solve complicated calculations in an easy manner. Using different sutras, the children were taught simple methods to solve sums faster and in an accurate manner.
