“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”
On 30th April 2022, students of Mount St. Mary’s School unfurled their scientific and logical prowess during the Science Exhibition 2022 – 23. The students of classes III to X and XII participated in this event. The theme – Health, Technology and Environment showcased their scientific aptitude in the form of more than two hundred and fifty models prepared by them.
Dr Vinita Sharma, the Chief Guest inaugurated the event. The Principal Rev. Brother Naveen, Dr. Vinita Sharma, Superior Brother Sylvanus and the School Coordinators sought the blessings of the Almighty by lighting the lamp. The Head Boy, Adab Lakhanpal and the Head Girl Anahita Dobhal welcomed the august gathering and introduced the Chief Guest and the judges for the event. There were nine judges – Dr Dipanshu Kaushik, WG Cdr. Rashmi More, Mrs Susan Pavamani, Mrs J Mathevi, Dr Sumit Singh Phukela, Dr. Amogh Tanwar, Mrs Pooja Sharma, Dr Rekha and Mrs Anamika Sarkar.
Each model was inspired by the pragmatic and scientific approach with innovative ideas. The projects like Electricity generation from stale tomatoes, Li-fi, Solar trackers, Hybrid Tree, 576 Megapixels were amongst the projects that attracted everyone’s attention. The budding science enthusiasts of the Junior School showcased colourful and working models
like the Solar System, Rain Water Harvesting, Volcanoes etc. and impressed everyone.
The Chief Guest was presented the memento by the Principal Rev. Brother Naveen as a token of gratitude. It was indeed a very insightful and engrossing learning experience for everyone.
