Prayer Service – Invoking God’s blessings for the new academic year
Once the exams are over and the new session begins, we enter the school with renewed energy and new hopes. What’s better than starting the new academic session with the blessings of the almighty!
On 3rd April 2023, Mount St. Mary’s Schoolconducted a prayer service to seek eternal blessings of the almighty for a constructive academic year.
The event started with the lighting of the lamp followed by the representatives of each class moving forward with a candle, lighting up the path of learning. Our Middle School Coordinator, Ms. Monica Jain led us into prayer thanking God for a successful last year and seeking his blessings for a great year ahead. Readings from the different holy books not only filled our minds with peace but also encouraged us to face the upcoming year with zeal and spirit. The concluding prayer by our Senior School Coordinator, Mr. Geo Mathew was followed by our school choir expressing our emotions with beautiful musical notes.
Then came the most awaited moment – Presentation of the Principal’s Trophy.The trophy was introduced this year by our principal Rev. Bro Tomy Varghese to felicitate the Best House.The trophy was bagged by the Price House.
The prayer service concluded with the Principal’s Address and everyone rising for the school song.
