NVESTITURE CEREMONY : A Celebration of Leadership
In a grand and inspiring ceremony, MSM proudly installed the Student Council for the academic year 2025-26 on 28th May 2025.
We were deeply honoured to welcome our Chief Guest, an alumnus of St. George’s Mussoorie, Sh. Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Secretary Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India — a leader whose transformative vision has redefined education across the country.
We also had the privilege of hosting our Guest of Honour, Mr. Prasanth Anand, an expert in nutrition and health, whose spirit of compassion and excellence continues to inspire.
Our ceremony began with the solemn Lighting of the Lamp, a symbolic act of ushering wisdom and positivity into the lives of our young leaders. This was followed by a beautiful Classical Welcome Dance, reminding us that while leadership forges ahead into new realms, it is deeply rooted in tradition and values.
This year’s theme, Peace Education: It Starts From Within, beautifully sets the tone for the journey our council embarks upon — a journey where leadership stems from inner strength, empathy, and a commitment to harmony.
The highlight of the event was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where our newly appointed Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects pledged to uphold the spirit, ideals, and dignity of the school.
The Chief Guest inspired the gathering with his motivational address, reminding the council to lead with humility, resilience, and purpose. His words were a clarion call to nurture peace not just in the school, but in the wider world beyond.
The programme also witnessed a Western Choir performance, a motivational dance, and the heartfelt Prayer by the Head Girl Gianna Reny, Vote of Thanks by the Head Boy Yashank Mahalwal, culminating in a joyous cake-cutting ceremony.
The day ended with the proud parents’ smiles, and a Council group photograph — a memory etched forever.
