Mount St. Mary’s School organised the ‘Inter House Marathon’ on 14th November, 2022 for the students of Classes IV to XII. The Children’s Day celebrations began with this event to boost general health and awareness among children. The marathon was flagged off by the Principal Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese. The students were divided into various age groups. All age categories adorned different colour t – shirts which were assigned to them group-wise. All the security measures were adhered to by the school authorities inside and outside the school premises. The event started at 8:00 am and concluded at 9:30 am. All students participated with great enthusiasm. The first 50 students from each category earned points for their respective Houses. The Principal and the three School Coordinators encouraged the winners by awarding them medals during the Children’s Day Special Assembly organised on the same day. It was indeed a successful event in which the children showcased their fitness levels and endurance.
