Mount St. Mary’s School is a symphony that celebrates the confluence of many tunes, talent with opportunity, intellect with diligence and fun with learning. Co-curricular activities are the integral part of the holistic development of a learner. With the objective of infusing a spirit of healthy competition, promoting team spirit and camaraderie among the Marians, MSM organized the Annual Inter House Cultural Fiesta 2022 on 4th and 5th November. The four Houses – Hogan, Hughes, Parkinson and Price competed with each other for the coveted trophies – Best Cheering House, Best Disciplined House and the Best House Trophy. On 4th November at 8 am, the Opening Ceremony was organized in which the Inter House Cultural Fiesta was inaugurated by the Principal Rev. Brother Tomy Varghese followed by the Oath taking Ceremony administered by Mrs Aparna Sinha, the Cultural Coordinator.Seventy-one different events were organised in this fiesta at different time, venues and class – wise categories. Cultural Fiesta incorporates a plethora of activities ranging from Poem Recitation to Stand-upComedy, Debate to Western Music Rap, Choreography to Marian Fashionista, Computer Presentation to Digital Imaging, Gaming to Rubik Cube, Dramatics to Mono – acting, Creative writing to Graffiti, Marian Round Table Conference to Turncoat, Photo shop to Spell Bee. This two – days event gave a platform to the students to showcase their talents, to develop skills and to exhibit their confidence. Each competition was judged by three to four judges. It was indeed an enriching and rewarding experience that was enjoyed by the participants as well as the organisers.
