“Picnic is always a day to cherish, a day away from the hustle and bustle of school… a day away from the books.”
14th, 15th and 16th February turned to be a red letter day for the students of our Junior school.
Classes Prep and One embarked on a delightful day out for a class picnic on 15th Feb to Sunder Nursery, a heaven of natural beauty and tranquility. Surrounded by lush green and vibrant blooms, students immersed themselves in a day of exploration and discovery. Amidst the serene surroundings, students experienced nature up close, breaking away from their usual school routine. The highlight was the play area, offering activities filled with learning opportunities like balancing, mazes, slides, swings, and more.
Classes 2 and 3 had to opportunity to visit the Nehru Planetarium and the Pradhan Mantri Sangralaya on 14th Feb whereas the same places where explored by Classes 4 & 5 on 16th Feb. With their bags packed with games, food and a lot more, the children and teachers were equally excited as they boarded their buses. Children explored the celestial beauty of the universe in 3-D and the visit to the museum after that was quite interesting.
It was a day well spent for all the children as they relaxed and recharged themselves and added to their learning experience.
