Christmas Celebrations 2024-25

As stated by Richelle E. Goodrich, ‘Christmas is like candy; it slowly melts in your mouth sweetening every taste bud, making you wish it could last forever.’ Such was the Christmas celebration on 20th December 2024 at Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt.

The program began with the introduction of our esteemed chief guests Dr. Anthony Raju, Dr. June Ann along with our special guest Mr. Varun Kalia and his wife Ms. Harleen Kaur. It was followed by the Prayer which was read by Nealex Joseph of Class 11. We then had the Junior School Christmas dance where our tiny tots enthusiastically danced to the peppy Christmas songs. Next up was the junior school Christmas Carol Singing. The winners of Classes 5B & 5C of the competition conducted earlier performed on stage.

Then we proceeded with the MSM Christmas and Nativity play, where the students of junior, middle and senior school together brought to everyone the true meaning of Christmas. This was then followed by Senior school Carol Singing by the Indian and Western music choirs. The Hindi Carols and the acapella by the Western music choir complemented in bringing up Christmas spirit.

Christmas is never complete without Santa Claus. So to make it the merriest Christmas ever our compères then welcomed Santa along with his reindeers.

After all the merriment we had our special guest, Mr. Varun Kalia (DEO), who addressed the gathering. Soon after which Santa along with our Principal Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese then felicitated our guests with Christmas hampers.

We then began with the next part of the program where the services of people club gave us briefing about the way in which they have spread the joy of Christmas in the lives of the underprivileged. They expressed how the entire school has been instrumental in this noble cause.

We then had the felicitation of the 80 participants that participated in the Human Rights Program on 10th December 2024. Our chief guest Dr. Anthony Raju and Dr. June Ann also felicitated our Principal on stage for receiving the GLOBAL EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AWARD. It was indeed a prestigious moment witnessed by our Marians.

Our Principal Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese also addressed the gathering and shared a Christmas message with the students.

From holistic Development to sustainable development MSM strives to achieve more and more. For this we had a short talk by ‘Go Sharpener’. They focused on discussing ways of sustainable development which would be useful for students.

The program then ended with the Vote of Thanks by Magic Nayal of Class 11.
