ANNUAL INVESTITURE AND AWARD CEREMONY

To inculcate the leadership qualities in young Marians and give them a feel of being an integral part of the school, Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt. held its Junior School Investiture and Award Ceremony on 3rd  May, 2023.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. Our Chief Guest for the day was Brig Ajay Kumar Sharma.Our Principal, Rev. Bro. Tommy Varghese the Junior School Coordinator, Ms. AanchalSiwach, the Senior School Coordinator, Mr. Geo Mathew and the Middle School Coordinator,Ms. Monica Jain graced the occasion.In his motivational address, the Chief Guest guided the Junior Student Council to be role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of the future.He advised the students to embrace their duties with humility, perseverance and loyalty.

The 24 students of Class 5 have been selected based on their exceptional qualities of leadership, social and personal qualities and academic excellence.

It was a momentous occasion for the newly appointed Student Council and their parents as they took the oath to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.

We wish them all the best as they embark on their exciting new journey and we look forward to seeing the great things they will achieve as leaders of our school.

The theme for the ceremony was ‘Radiating Excellence’. It was heart-warming to witness students receiving awards under various categories. A foot tapping dance performance and melodious musical rendition by the Junior School choir added colour to the occasion. The most prestigious award of the year – The Best All Rounder of the Junior School was given to Aarna Pant, the most deserving student of Class 5. The award ceremony was indeed a celebration of the achievements and the efforts of the students.
