The SCIENCE EXHIBITION was HELD ON: 27TH AUGUST 2024 on the THEME Holistic Development: Ideas that can change the World and Innovations that can contribute towards the society. Students from classes 4th to 12th participated in the event. From hundreds of students, top 50 made it to the competitive level where they were judged by Science Connoisseur from DRDO, doctors, Research Specialists, engineers and professors.
The scientific occasion was honoured by CHIEF GUEST, for the day, Lieutenant General Arindam Chatterjee, AVSM, VSM who is also a proud ex-Marian.
Chief Guest, Lieutenant General Arindam Chatterjee, AVSM, VSM, as a staunch supporter of our flagship program the evening school-outreach initiative, started in 1994, graciously offered to donate Rs. 1 lakh, which will go a long way in empowering underprivileged students.
The event was aptly inaugurated by honourable chief guest via two mediums. One 3D Pyramid Hologram where a scientific 3-dimensional video relevant to science and the theme of the year, followed by a HUMAN-ROBOT which was the work of the students of the Robotics club. As a representation of the scientific voyage, our endeavour Robot presented the honourable chief guest with an envelope to declare the event open.
MODELS: Models from various spheres of science were exhibited including, AI based Traffic control, Methane gas indicator for life safety, Braille To Text and Voice to Braille, alcohol and Sleep detector to control accidents on road, Electricity from Gym, Innovation and Roads, visually impaired friendly spectacles, forest fire inhibitor and much more.
