Mount St. Mary’s School Hosts 21st Bro Aloysius Inter School English Recitation Competition
Delhi, 23rd August 2024: The 21st Bro Aloysius Inter School English Recitation Competition held at Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt, marked a significant cultural event, drawing participation from 14 prestigious schools across Delhi and NCR. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Sunit Tandon, Director of the India Habitat Centre and renowned television personality, along with Special Guest Ms. Lakshmipriya.
The day’s highlight was a captivating musical performance titled ‘The Redemption of the Beast,’ executed by the students of Mount St. Mary’s School. The production eloquently conveyed the message that love and compassion have the power to transform even the hardest of hearts. This performance set the stage for an array of impressive poetry recitations, showcasing the linguistic skills and confidence of the participants.
The competition culminated with Fr. Agnel School emerging as the Overall Winner, earning accolades for their outstanding performance.
The event was made possible by the leadership and vision of the school’s Principal, Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese, who provided a platform for students to express their talents. Additionally, the Principals of the participating schools were commended for their support, which ensured enthusiastic student participation and contributed to the event’s success.
