5th September is a day, most anticipated by Mount St. Mary’s School, every year when the students of class 12getthe opportunity to organize a special assembly exclusively for teachers. This year too, the seniormost students were extremely excited as it was their turn to entertain the teachers and their juniors.
The event was held in the school auditorium. The program started at 9 am with a prayer to the Almighty. A series of indoor games like Antakshari, Hook Step Challenge, Tea with Teachers (Rapid Fire with the Principal and Coordinators) were conducted and the teachers participated in every event sportingly. It was so much fun watching the teachers let their hair down on their special day. A stand up comedy and a song medley was presented by the students. The teachers and the entire staff were felicitated with badges, roses and cards. The 2 hour long event ended with a dance medley by the class 12 students followed by cutting of the cake. Just like the cherry on the top of the cake, the event was concluded with a basketball match between teachers and students and the teachers were the winners, as always. Through the event the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful teachers of MSM.
