2nd Bishop Daniel Delany Inter-school Swimming Championship-2022

Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt. organized the 2nd Bishop Daniel Delany Inter -school Swimming Championship on 25th & 26th August, 2022 in which 18 Schools participated. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Principal Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese. The three School Coordinators and Mr K. P Singh, the H.O.D  were   also present for the ceremony. The Chief Guest witnessed the finals and encouraged all the swimmers with his motivational speech. He congratulated all the winners and awarded them trophies and certificates. Ananya Chauhan (Girls group-II), Ahana Tiwari (Girls group-III), Anahita Dhingra (Girls group-IV)  were declared the ‘Best Swimmer’ category – wise. MSM won 24 Gold medals, 15 Silver medals, 9 Bronze medals and won the overall ‘Best School Trophy’ in Boys Category. Bal Bharti School PitamPura bagged the ‘Best School Trophy – Girls Category. The two days event culminated on 26th August, 2022, and Dr. Dinesh P. Sharma, Associate Professor Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Science, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on the Closing Ceremony.
