Investiture Ceremony 2021
Another year, another successful Mount St Mary’s School Investiture Ceremony.
Although Investiture Ceremony 2021-22 had to be conducted online yet again, it lackednone of the precisionand pride of any investiture before it.
The ceremony began by invoking the Lord’s blessing with the tradition all ighting of the lamp. This was followed by an introduction to the theme for this year’s ceremony – ‘Leaders: A Beacon of Hope’,which was showcased as mime by the talented new white house who were to be sworn in.
Thus, commenced the swearing in of the council members. Starting with the white housemembers, the Head Boy Yuvraj Kashyap was sworn in by our principal Rev. Bro.Naveen, Head Girl Pia Mehra by our Superior Rev. Bro. Sylvanus and Sports Captain Mannat Kashyap by Mr. K.P.Singh,the Sports HOD.
They stood tall, as embodiments of every Marian value, theperfect picture of leadership.Tthe captains and vice captains of each of the four houses weresworninshortly after.
The entire ceremony was taken to the next level by the Western Music Club of MSM, withtheir rendition of the beautiful song,Glorius. The prefects from each house were sworn in, therafter. With the parents given the honor of pinning on the badges on their children, the prideswirling in everyone’s eyes was unmistakable. Enthusiastic to lead their school to a brighter future,the new lysworn in Council listened attentively to the in sightfuland motivating message of our principal, Rev. Bro. Naveen.
While the circumstances were less than ideal, every member of the Student Council for theyear 2021-22 was filled with pride as they took their oath and were more than enthusiasticandreadytotakeuptheirduties,taking steps together, striding boldly on.
