Admission guidelines for class Nursery 2025-26

READING ACTIVITY: The reading activity for class 2 was help on 2nd July. Children were asked to hold their favourite book and read it with proper diction and fluency. They loved reading out and expressing in a wonderful manner.

FIRELESS COOKING: The Master Chef Activity was held on 6th May. Children used the available ingredients at home to lay out a dish in most creative, colourful and fun way. Train out of monacco cookies, fruit tarts and choco cookies were some dishes they made. It was an overwhelming experience done with so much love.

DRESSING UP -FANCY DRESS: Dressing up activity was based ongiving respect to our warriors (Our Helpers) who work hard day and night to safeguard us namely doctors, nurses, medical personnel, policemen and military personnel’sduring the pandemic time. The children dressed up as doctor, nurse, policeman and chef and spoke two – three lines as to how they help us. It was truly an enriching experience to see them dressed up as responsible people.

FREEDOM FIGHTERS: This activity was done on 14th August. Children were dressed up freedom fighters, patriotic leaders who fought bravely for the freedom of India. They spoke with confidence and patriotic valour as a freedom fighter. It sparked the feeling of patriotism and pride amongst all of us.

CLOCK ACTIVITY: It was held in the month of August. It was an effective teaching aid to make children understand and read time accurately on the clock.

GO GREEN: DIWALI ACTIVITY- This activity was done by children in class on 4th November. They dressed up in their traditional attire and made placards and cards which emphasized on celebrating Cracker free, Green Diwali to save our environment from pollution and spread peace and happiness.

FESTIVALS ACTIVITY: It was conducted on 20th October. Children dressed up in their traditional attire and spoke about their favourite festival and the memories attached to it. It was a beautiful moment to walk down the path of sweet memories of how they celebrated with their family, traditions and the rich culture.

PLANT COLLAGE: ACTIVITY – ‘ TO BE ONE WITH NATURE’

Our Friends- Plant Activity was done on 20th November. Children send the pictures of different kinds of plants and trees and it was compiled into a collage. Then one by one students were asked to identify the kind of plant, the fruit it gives, its benefits and usefulness. Children learnt a lot about plants through this fun filled activity.

FRACTION ACTIVITY : This colourful and creative activity was conducted on 9th December. Children were asked to keep origami sheets, A4 sheets and fevisticks. Through folding and pasting they understood the terms 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 as fractions and enjoyed learning more about this concept.

ROLE PLAY ACTIVITY: – Activity on 19thNovember Children were asked to use cut out masks or soft toys of animals( characters) in the Role play for the lesson ‘Sky Is Falling’. The story was beautifully enacted by children in the voices of the animals. It was truly a heartening experience.

SIKKIM- TRADITIONAL WEAR:

FANCY DRESS AND DANCE was held on 17th November. Children were dressed up as people of Sikkim. They learnt a beautiful song Malai Sikkim MaanParcha and also danced on it. They were looking bright, colourful and very beautiful in the traditional attire of Sikkim.
