Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt. organized the 4th Bishop Daniel Delany Interschool Swimming Championship on 25th & 26th July, 2024 in which 50 Schools participated. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese.
The Community Leader Rev. Bro. Rajesh Tirkey, The Coordinators – Mr. Geo Mathew, Ms. Monica Jain, Ms. Aanchal Siwach and Mr. K. P. Singh, the H.O.D. of Sports Department were also present for the ceremony.
Rev. Father Dr. Shinoj OFM was the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony. He was welcomed and warmly greeted by the Principal Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese. The Chief Guest witnessed the finals and encouraged all the swimmers with his motivational speech. He congratulated all the winners and awarded them trophies, medals and certificates. MSM won 29 Gold medals, 30 Silver medals, 17 Bronze medals and the
overall ‘Best School Trophy’ in Girls Category. Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura bagged the ‘Best School Trophy in Boys Category.
It was indeed a day filled with excitement and a great learning experience for the participants.
