1ST DANIEL DELANY INTER-SCHOOL SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2019

Mount St. Mary’s School organized the 1st Daniel Delany inter-school swimming Championship on 16th & 17th October, 2019. Ten Schools participated in the swimming meet. The official inauguration of the tournament was held on October 16th, 2019 in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mrs. K Sudha, the Principal of St. Martin’s Diocesan School Delhi Cantt., Rev. Bro Arockia Raj, the school Principal, Vice Principal, coordinators and the H.O.D of the Sports Department. The Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony, held on October 17th, 2019, was Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Joint Secretary of Indian Olympic Association The Chief Guest witnessed the finals and encouraged all the swimmers with an inspirational speech. He congratulated all the Winners and awarded them with trophies and certificates. The ceremony came to an end with the Vote of Thanks. The result of the tournament is as follows: MSM won 50 Gold, 34 Silver and 43 Bronze medals. Gitansh Gehlot (Boys group-I) Yashank Mahalwal (Boys group-III) Ananya Chauhan (Girls group-III) Ahana Tiwari (Girls group-IV) Anahita Dhingra (Girls group-V) All Five participants were honored with the coveted ‘Best Swimmer’ title. MSM won the overall “Best School Trophy” in Girls Category Bal Bharti School won the overall “Best School Trophy” in Boys Category
