Teachers’ Day Celebrations 2025

Teachers’ Day Celebrations at Mount St. Mary’s School

The auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day was marked with grandeur and heartfelt emotions as the students of Class XII orchestrated a vibrant celebration in honour of their mentors. The meticulously planned programme unfolded as a beautiful blend of reverence, joy, and entertainment, reflecting the deep admiration and gratitude Marians hold for their teachers.

The morning commenced on a serene note with a soulful prayer by Gianna Reny, invoking divine blessings. Kanusha Bopanna extended a gracious welcome to the august gathering, which included the Principal, Rev. Brother Tomy Varghese, Community Leader, Rev. Brother
George P.U., Coordinators, and the teaching fraternity. A moving poem by Nikita set the tone for the day, after which Alfred Biju and Arjun Nair paid a stirring tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the visionary whose birthday we commemorate as Teachers’ Day.

A warm introduction of Rev. Brother George P.U. by Yashank Mahalwal, accompanied by a bouquet presentation, marked a moment of honour and respect. From this point, the celebration sparkled with energy and colour. The much-awaited Pre-Primary Teachers’ Rampwalk and Title
Presentation, compered by Renu Pawar and Vipansi Dabas, drew rounds of cheerful applause. The festivities continued with a melodious presentation by Class XII, followed by the Junior School Teachers’ Rampwalk and Title Presentation, led by Simran Rajput and Krisha Kataria.
Laughter and applause echoed through the auditorium during the stand-up comedy act by Divyaansh Bhati and Samuel Joseph, while the mimicry act by Vaibhay Pandey and Abhyuday Dhawan left the audience in splits. An electrifying dance by the Class XII students ignited the
stage with energy and enthusiasm.

The specially curated Teachers’ Day videos captured touching moments of appreciation and joy, after which the rampwalks continued with spirited enthusiasm—Middle School Teachers’ Rampwalk hosted by Akshit Raj and Ahana Belwal, Office Staff Rampwalk compered by Prisha
Gupta and Nealex Joseph, and the Senior School Teachers’ Rampwalk anchored by Divit Marwah and Akshat Tiwari.

A spectacular highlight of the show was when the Brothers and the Coordinators joined the students on stage. The Marians showered their immense love, affection and gratitude in their words and expressions.

As a token of appreciation, titles and bookmarks were presented to the teachers. Gianna and Yashank extended heartfelt thanks to the Brothers for their guidance. The thoughtfully chosen fans as gifts symbolized comfort, care, and the everlasting gratitude of the students towards their mentors.

On behalf of the staff, Ms. Aparna Sinha acknowledged the hard work and creativity of the students and organisers. The programme drew to a meaningful close with the inspiring message of the Principal, Rev. Brother Tomy, who urged teachers to continually reconnect with
themselves in order to give more and better each year to their students. He also thanked and appreciated the students of class XII for the wonderful programme. He motivated them to be thankful and respectful to the guiding lights. The joyous cake-cutting ceremony was the perfect finale, leaving everyone with smiles and sweet memories.

The day was not merely an event, but a celebration of the sacred bond between teachers and students—a true reflection of the Marian ethos of gratitude, reverence and joy.
