Janmashtami Celebration– Pre-Primary Block
On 13th August, the Pre-Primary Block of MSM was filled with joy, colours, and festive spirit as we celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna.
Our little ones looked divine, dressed beautifully as Radha and Krishna, spreading an aura of innocence and sweetness all around.
In their classrooms, children engaged in creative activities – Nursery made Krishna’s flute decorated with peacock feathers, LKG crafted bright peacock-feathered headbands, while UKG children made Krishna’s flute by rolling paper and then decorating it.
The highlight of the day was a special Janmashtami Assembly. Teachers enacted a delightful play about Little Krishna and Radha, gently teaching the children that while sweets bring joy, eating too many is not good for health. Adding to the charm, the children sang a cheerful “Happy Birthday” song for Krishna ji, with joy and devotion. The celebration continued with a vibrant dance performance by the teachers, followed by children joyfully swaying to Krishna’s songs, filling the atmosphere with happiness and festive cheer.
Children also enjoyed sweets and shared this sweetness with their friends, making the celebration even more memorable.
It was truly a day of love, laughter, learning, and devotion – a celebration that captured the essence of Janmashtami in its purest form.
