Disaster Management Workshop – Preparedness Today, Safety Tomorrow
Mount St. Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt., conducted a Disaster Management Training Programme on 14th January in collaboration with experts from the District Disaster Management Authority
(DDMA), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and Delhi Fire Service.
The workshop covered essential life-saving skills including CPR, basic first aid, firefighting techniques, search and rescue operations, and emergency evacuation procedures. Participants comprising staff members and students of Classes IX and XI received hands-on training and practical demonstrations on handling different types of fire outbreaks and responding effectively during emergency situations.
The session emphasized preparedness, quick response, and safety, reinforcing the importance of disaster awareness and readiness.
A highly informative and impactful initiative towards building a safer and more prepared community.
