When the Bells Jingled and Santa Came Calling
Christmas cheer reverberated through the Marian Auditorium as the students and parents of MSM came together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. The Christian Parents’ Programme organised on 13th December 2025, began with a prayer by Rebecca Siju.
Children dressed as Joseph, Mary, the Wise Men of the East and shepherds took the audience back to the birth of Christ with their joyously nostalgic presentation of the Nativity Play. The divinity of the English and Hindi Carols echoed in the hearts of the audience and performers alike. Dancing to the merry tune of Christmas songs, the dancers got everyone in the auditorium tapping their feet.
It was time for fun and excitement when Santa showered his sweet treats on the audience. The true spirit of Christmas was seen in the accolades won by the students at various Inter School Bible Competitions. Leading the proud winners were Anto and Aaron Jose who won the First Position at the National Bible Quiz winning a Cash Prize of Rs 2 Lakh. They also lifted the Winners’ Trophy at the Diocesan Bible Quiz organised by the Archdiocese of Delhi.
In his message to the parents and children, our Principal, Bro Tomy Varghese, reminded everyone that the true spirit of Christmas lies in generous sharing, caring, giving and gratitude not just on Christmas but throughout the year. Greetings of the season were made more special with a performance by the evening school children.
Santa came with gifts for the parents and the Evening School Children. The warmth of the holiday season spilled over to tea and snacks as the parents and children enjoyed the Christmas savouries.
