Children’s Day Celebrations 2025-26 (Middle School and Senior School)

Children’s Day Celebrations at MSM – A  Joyous Tribute to Childhood

On 14th November 2025, the atmosphere at Mount St. Mary’s School was brimming with happiness, laughter, and youthful delight as the ebullient teachers of MSM came together to present a spectacular programme dedicated to their beloved students. The day commemorated
Children’s Day, a celebration of innocence, energy, and the boundless spirit of childhood, honouring the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly remembered as Chacha Nehru.

The morning began with a special assembly, where a serene prayer set a reflective tone for the day. Students paid a heartfelt tribute to Chacha Nehru, acknowledging his enduring love for children and his vision for a progressive, child-centric nation. What followed was a delightful
surprise for all—the teachers stepped into the spotlight to showcase their vibrant talents in dancing, singing, and acting. Their enthusiastic performances brought alive a sense of camaraderie and joy, much to the delight of the students who cheered them on with unbridled
excitement.

The celebration soared further when Community Leader, Rev. Bro George P. U, along with Mr. Charlie, captivated the audience with their soulful and spirited renditions. Their performances created an electric atmosphere in the auditorium, leaving the children enthralled. A specially curated video presentation by the teachers added an emotional touch to the event, serving as a warm homage to the vivacity, wonder, and magic of childhood.

A highlight of the morning was the proud release of the Digital School Magazine for the session 2024–25 by Rev. Bro. Tomy Varghese, Principal. The magazine stands as a testament to the creativity, achievements, and vibrant school life of the Marian community.

The programme concluded with inspiring pearls of wisdom from Senior School Co-ordinator, Mr. Geo Mathew, who beautifully reminded everyone of the timeless joys of childhood and the importance of nurturing the child within each one of us.

The day was a heartwarming celebration of joy, innocence, and togetherness—one in which teachers and students alike forged cherished memories. Children’s Day at MSM truly echoed the belief that children are the heart of the school and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
