Art Exhibition: Celebration of Creativity

The Annual Art and Craft Exhibition, held on December 6, 2025, in the school auditorium, was a vibrant and inspiring showcase of creativity, imagination, and artistic excellence. Centered around the meaningful theme ‘Peace in Art’, the exhibition beautifully conveyed messages of harmony, unity, and positivity through creative expression. The exhibition brought together artworks created by students from various classes and the Canvas Club (the Art Club of MSM), providing a dynamic platform for young artists to express their ideas and talents.

The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Guest, Ms Ishita Jain, an accomplished illustrator and designer based in New York City, originally from Delhi. She is the author and illustrator of Searching for Sunshine, and her art has been featured on prominent global platforms such as The New York Times and Penguin Random House.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of themes and art forms, including paintings, sculptures, art and craft installations, optical illusions, painted umbrellas, pop art, and thematic compositions. Some of the major highlights that attracted the attention of parents and students alike were the haunted house setup, the pop art walls, and the engaging live painting session. Each display stood out for its originality, thoughtful concepts, and strong visual appeal.

Ms. Ishita Jain highlighted the importance of art and craft in nurturing selfexpression, confidence, and innovation in everyday life in her address. A special mention goes to the dedicated members of the Canvas Club badge holders – Gianna Reny (President), Mansi Godiyal (Vice President), Manas Khairawa (Joint Secretary), Dhanya (General Secretary) whose teamwork and leadership played a key role in making the exhibition a grand success.

The successful execution of the exhibition was made possible under the constant guidance and encouragement of art teachers, Ms. Preeti Yadav, Mr. Birender Singh, and Ms. Deepti Sachdeva, along with the valuable support of our craft teacher, Ms. Punita Vijjan. Overall, the Annual Art and Craft Exhibition was a resounding success, effectively showcasing the creativity, dedication, and collaborative spirit of the
students. It was appreciated by the parents and other spectators. The exhibition stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to promoting art, culture, and holistic development.
